Job Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Talent Development Specialist. This is a key position within our organization, and the successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing our talent, leadership, and team culture.
About the Role:
The Talent Development Specialist will collaborate with leaders to identify learning and development solutions that support departmental strategies. This involves working closely with specialist teams to develop timely solutions for staff, maintaining a technical capability framework for consultants and frontline leaders, and educating frontline leaders on the framework's use for team development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with People Business Partners and Claims & Assessing leaders to identify talent and development needs.
- Work with specialist teams to develop timely solutions for Claims & Assessing staff.
- Maintain a Technical Capability Framework for Consultants and Frontline Leaders.
- Educate frontline leaders on the framework's use for team development.
- Embed flagship leadership programs to enhance Team Leader and Frontline Leader capabilities.
- Identify skill gaps from Consultant to Team Leader roles and engage Learning, HR, or OD teams for targeted interventions.
- Collaborate with People Business Partners on a Succession Planning Framework for C&A, coaching leaders on its use.
Requirements:
- Strong internal consulting skills to influence stakeholders, including senior management.
- Experience advising leaders on divisional level talent identification and succession planning.
- Excellent coaching skills to motivate individuals for learning and behavior change.
- Experience leading in a frontline call center sales or service environment or partnering with these areas.
- Experience working in the financial services sector, ideally within an HR/OD or Learning role.
- Familiarity with various learning methodologies, including eLearning, virtual classrooms, and blended approaches.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, with effective planning and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication.
