About the Role
The key responsibilities of this role include supporting regulatory compliance activities under the Nature Conservation Act 1992, handling animals and applying biosecurity principles as needed for native wildlife, and promoting awareness and appreciation of conservation values among the public while enhancing their understanding of compliance obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support regulatory compliance activities under the Nature Conservation Act 1992, including responding to public complaints, conducting audits, and investigating illegal wildlife activities.
- Handle animals and apply biosecurity principles as needed for native wildlife.
- Promote awareness and appreciation of conservation values among the public while enhancing their understanding of compliance obligations.
