Remote Health Services Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to support the delivery of vital healthcare services across Western Australia.

This is a coordination role responsible for supporting the operational and administrative delivery of our remote health clinics. You will work closely with doctors, nurses, and leadership teams to enable smooth clinical workflows, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and manage logistics such as appointment scheduling, equipment, and consumables.

You will be instrumental in enhancing care continuity, patient engagement, and service efficiency for communities that need it most.

About the Role

This role involves regular travel to regional sites and requires strong health service administration skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate clinical follow-up tasks, patient recalls, and proactive care outreach
  2. Manage clinician rosters, inboxes, and clinic schedules
  3. Oversee stock control and procurement of clinical supplies
  4. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  5. Support data collection, reporting, and patient experience feedback
  6. Act as the go-to contact for remote teams requiring coordination and support
  7. Contribute to service improvement projects and resource management

Requirements:

  • Experience in health service administration, ideally in primary care or remote settings
  • Strong knowledge of clinical workflows and general practice operations
  • Familiarity with practice management systems
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
