Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per annum

This Senior Data Engineer position is part of our IT team, responsible for designing, developing and maintaining large-scale data platforms and integrating systems across multiple domains. As a key member of the engineering team, you will work closely with cross-functional groups to ensure the smooth operation of our data infrastructure.

The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to identify requirements, providing technical expertise and guidance on data architecture, and leading the development of high-quality solutions. You will also contribute to the design and implementation of new technologies, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and maintain large-scale data platforms and integrate systems across multiple domains
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements and provide technical expertise and guidance on data architecture
  • Lead the development of high-quality solutions using Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Blob Storage, SQL Server, and Azure SQL DW
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new technologies, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, data engineering or related field
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Blob Storage, SQL Server, and Azure SQL DW
  • Demonstrated experience implementing solution designs and end-to-end development
  • Highly skilled in verbal and written communication to analyse, interpret and address customer needs at multiple levels
