We're seeking a Chief Data Engineering Architect to expand and optimize our Data & Analytics platform, empowering our Insights teams to extract actionable insights efficiently. Your expertise will not only enhance current capabilities but also foster a culture of data-driven innovation, aligned closely with our rigorous data governance practices.

The Opportunity:

  • Design, build, test, and deploy optimized, highly available, and reliable data pipelines and architectures using relevant tools such as AWS.
  • Create business value by integrating new data platform toolsets into an innovation pipeline.
  • Assemble large, complex structured and unstructured data sets that meet business requirements, ensuring security and governance.
  • Update existing data models and metadata repositories for new use cases.
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including automation, data delivery optimization, and infrastructure scalability redesign.

What We're Looking For:

  • Extensive experience with AWS architecture, technologies, and services, and establishing recommendations for new AWS services or solutions.
  • A strong understanding of Data & Analytics concepts and technologies, including data warehousing, data lakes, ETL, visualization, and reporting, with a focus on creating business value.
  • Proficiency in data engineering tools and languages such as SQL, Python, Athena, Redshift, and Glue.
  • Deep knowledge of Data Architecture, Data Modeling, Data Marts, and Metadata Management best practices.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Modern Data Platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and Data Engineering, with strong Agile delivery skills and a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, or a related field.

Salary:$160,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
