Secretarial Role Overview
The Corporate Secretary plays a pivotal role in supporting the organisation in meeting its compliance obligations and ensuring the Board of Directors has the necessary advice and resources to discharge its fiduciary duties.
The role is accountable for providing proactive legal and governance advice, a high-performing corporate governance program, and organisational legal and corporate governance advice and leading improvements.
This position contributes to the management of the organisation as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, enabling the realisation of our vision of delivering quality services.
- Deliver outstanding quality internal management reports for superior decision-making.
- Assist the Board Chair and committee chairpersons and the Managing Director in conducting meetings and their directorial and governance obligations and responsibilities.
- Support Board, Committees, and Executive meetings by attending, taking minutes, executing administration, reviewing papers, and overseeing meeting packs.
- Facilitate ad-hoc committees and working groups, lead the induction program for new Directors, and manage board and executive events.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in governance and secretariat services
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and other productivity tools
