About the Position:

headspace Hawkesbury is seeking experienced General Practitioners to join their team. In this role, you will conduct high-quality GP assessments for young people aged 12–25, manage Mental Health Care Plans and referrals, address physical and mental health concerns, collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, and receive clinical supervision and tailored administrative support.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough GP assessments for adolescents and young adults
  • Developing and managing Mental Health Care Plans and referral processes
  • Providing preventive care and addressing physical and mental health concerns
  • Collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to deliver comprehensive services
  • Receiving regular clinical supervision and administrative support

About You:

  • AHPRA-registered GP with relevant qualifications and experience
  • Experience in youth and/or mental health settings
  • Skilled in evidence-based treatment approaches and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Strong communication and care coordination abilities
