**Job Opportunity**

We are seeking a professional to join our team as a specialist in capability development and training.

As a key member of our team, you will provide expert advice and knowledge to assist in the development of leaders and teams to deliver high performance through the empowerment of our people.

You will provide technical expertise in the strategy and development of culture and capability learning programs, products, and systems for the department.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert advice and knowledge to assist in the development of leaders and teams
  • Providing technical expertise in the strategy and development of culture and capability learning programs, products, and systems
  • Supporting and training operational roles and activities, including coordinating and maintaining the training matrix for all 24/7 workforce personnel
  • Actively participating in translating strategy into operational plans for capability learning

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Trainer and Assessor qualification
  • Experience working within the coal industry is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an operational environment and possess information analysis and interpretation skills
  • Intermediate level business acumen, stakeholder engagement, and governance and assurance knowledge
  • Foundational skills in strategic decision making, presentation/facilitation, and vendor/customer management

This is a full-time, permanent, residential position based in Muswellbrook NSW, working a Monday-Friday roster.

The successful applicant will be required to live within a safe distance from our mine site, aligned with our fatigue management policies.
