Job Overview:
As a Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert technical advice on compensation payment schemes. You will work closely with the claims team to ensure performance targets are met and customer satisfaction remains high.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver timely and accurate technical guidance on workers compensation legislation and payment schemes.
- Develop and implement training programs for case managers on technical aspects of claims and new legislation.
- Collaborate with the claims team to drive business outcomes and improve customer experience.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and legislative updates.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in managing claims within the personal injury space, with a strong understanding of workers compensation.
- Proven technical claims management expertise.
- Studies or experience in occupational therapy, physiotherapy, nursing, or related fields would be highly valued.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
