Claims Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Specialist to join our Commercial Property team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional claims service, investigating and evaluating assigned cases, and ensuring compliance with accreditation levels and policies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Delve into complex cases, determining proper policy coverage and negotiating assigned claims
- Manage both Commercial and Domestic Claims, primarily Property Claims, demonstrating expertise in insurance guidelines and policy changes
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, responding promptly to their needs
- Identify and report suspicious or fraudulent claims, upholding the highest standards of integrity
- Maintain current knowledge of insurance products and services, staying ahead of industry trends
Requirements:
- General insurance claims experience is advantageous, but not essential
- A strong focus on customer service, with the ability to build rapport over the phone and handle varying customer expectations and demands
- A highly empathetic approach to dealing with customers, possessing the ability to be friendly yet professional
- Self-motivated with excellent time-management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks effectively
- Solution focused, with a pride in providing an exceptional customer experience at every point of contact
