Administrative Support Officer for Surgical Units

Southern Adelaide Local Health Network – Flinders Medical Centre – Surgery and Perioperative Medicine is seeking an experienced Administrative Support Officer to join our dynamic team.
About the RoleThis is a key support role within the Division of Surgery and Perioperative Medicine, providing administrative services to ensure effective day-to-day management of surgical units.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide confidential secretarial services to surgical units, including typing, reception duties, and appointment diary maintenance.
- Act as a communication link between patients, outside agencies, and health professionals.
- Support the recruitment process for medical officers, liaising with SALHN's Workforce Services team and ensuring timely preparation and submission of documentation.
We are looking for an individual who possesses exceptional organisational skills, effective telephone and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
A strong candidate will be able to respond to diverse range of people in a courteous and helpful manner, while maintaining confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
