SA Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join our Transitional Care Unit at the Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide's southern metropolitan area.
This role requires exceptional clinical skills, a commitment to teamwork, and a genuine passion for improving the lives of others. As an Enrolled Nurse in the Transitional Care Unit, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals transitioning from acute care settings to the community or residential aged care facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Delivering skilled nursing care under the supervision of Registered Nurses.
- Monitoring and reporting on patient conditions.
- Assisting with activities of daily living.
- Promoting patient independence and supporting rehabilitation goals.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Registered or eligible for registration as an enrolled nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- In order to administer medicines, must have completed a Board-approved program of study which includes an administration of medicines unit.
