Salary

The total indicative remuneration package for this role is $103,690 - $168,320 per annum (pro rata), inclusive of award salary, superannuation, and other monetary benefits.



Job Description


  2. As a Medical Officer at SALHN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services, supporting senior medical staff, and honing your skills in various medical disciplines.
  3. You will have access to an extensive range of rotations across all medical and surgical specialties, obstetrics & gynaecology, paediatrics, emergency and intensive care, anaesthetics, mental health and rehabilitation.
  4. We offer regular support and training through the TMO Unit and Medical Education Team, including weekly educational sessions and quarterly simulation sessions in a state-of-the-art Clinical Simulation Laboratory.
  5. Our largest hospital, Flinders Medical Centre, is a centre of excellence and tertiary referral centre for South Australia, allowing you to gain experience with subspecialty services.


Required Skills and Qualifications


  • Medical degree from a recognised institution.
  • Current medical registration or eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and professional growth.
