Salary
The total indicative remuneration package for this role is $103,690 - $168,320 per annum (pro rata), inclusive of award salary, superannuation, and other monetary benefits.
Job Description
- As a Medical Officer at SALHN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services, supporting senior medical staff, and honing your skills in various medical disciplines.
- You will have access to an extensive range of rotations across all medical and surgical specialties, obstetrics & gynaecology, paediatrics, emergency and intensive care, anaesthetics, mental health and rehabilitation.
- We offer regular support and training through the TMO Unit and Medical Education Team, including weekly educational sessions and quarterly simulation sessions in a state-of-the-art Clinical Simulation Laboratory.
- Our largest hospital, Flinders Medical Centre, is a centre of excellence and tertiary referral centre for South Australia, allowing you to gain experience with subspecialty services.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Medical degree from a recognised institution.
- Current medical registration or eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for learning and professional growth.
