Job Description:

As a dedicated Clinical Care Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of care staff to deliver high-quality patient care in a residential aged care facility.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Educating and supporting care staff to ensure the delivery of quality care
  • Supporting the admission process for new residents, including assessments, care planning, and reviews
  • Managing complex healthcare issues, such as wound care, infection control, pain management, falls, and continence issues
  • Consulting with residents, their families, allied health professionals, and medical practitioners
  • Leading the completion of accurate and timely reporting and documentation in line with legislative, regulatory, professional standards, policies, and procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Nursing degree
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in aged care
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, professional standards, policies, and procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • National Police and NDIS clearances
  • Flu vaccination and COVID-19 vaccinations
