Risk and Governance Lead | Technology Risk and Standards

At Macquarie, we have an opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our Application Portfolio Management team in Technology Core and Personal Tech. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in managing, monitoring, and governing technology-related risks.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting standards related to asset management and the software development lifecycle concerning technology risks. You will partner with the Global Head of Engineering to establish best practices for managing the software development lifecycle and set strategies for proportionate risk management and governance.

You will define minimum requirements for risk management, oversee governance and compliance with technology policies and standards, and design automated metrics for data quality, exception handling, and risk management.

In addition, you will escalate non-compliance issues to the Technology leadership team and Board, review standards for cohesion and effectiveness, and collaborate with Risk Management on assurance strategies.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills. You must be able to influence decision-making and solve problems effectively.

As a leader, you will guide and motivate junior team members to achieve their full potential. Your ability to analyze data and develop compliance strategies will be essential in driving business success.
