Job Title: Water Engineering Team Leader

The Water Engineering Team Lead is a senior role within our organization, responsible for overseeing operational and compliance activities, while ensuring maintenance work aligns with company objectives.

  • Leadership, Management, and Accountability: Provide strong leadership to a team of engineers, fostering accountability, motivation, and alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  1. Lead a team of approximately 30 engineers in managing day-to-day operations.
  2. Analyze maintenance forecasts and develop action plans to ensure schedules are met in line with company targets.
  3. Ensure compliance tasks, such as Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) and ladder inspections, are completed accurately and on time.
  4. Manage team schedules to ensure availability for planned and ad-hoc maintenance tasks.

Work Environment:

  • This is a full-time position with a mix of office-based and field-based work.
  • Maintenance work may require travel to operational sites.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team management.
  • Analytical skills for forecasting and planning.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements, including PAT testing, ladder inspections, and health and safety regulations.
  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field; relevant certifications preferred.
