Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Enablement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the Core Payroll group, you will play a critical role in supporting the execution of payroll enablement activities.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge across payroll delivery, payroll systems and Australia payroll regulatory environment, through previous payroll related experience. They will also possess broad domain understanding of the payroll business environment in financial services, including risk, change management, technology, data management and vendor management.

  • Identify and define payroll change requirements
  • Manage delivery of payroll related fixes and enhancements, change management, risks, etc.
  • Perform release testing activity on the new technology (Success Factors - Employee Central and/or Employee Central Payroll and RAMCO)
  • Update payroll procedure guides / process workbooks
  • Contribute to bank wide initiatives with Payroll components
  • Support Payroll / Finance activities including change, issue investigation and regular reconciliation

What You'll Bring

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • A strong technical understanding across payroll delivery, payroll systems and Australia payroll regulatory environment, through previous payroll related experience
  • Broad domain understanding of the payroll business environment in financial services, including risk, change management, technology, data management and vendor management
  • Experience with test management, this includes understanding and working through business requirements to determine the type and level of testing required in the payroll system
  • Experience contributing to complex HR / Payroll programs with multiple deliverables
  • Be comfortable liaising with technical and non-technical teams on payroll enablement activity
  • Regional knowledge and ability to lead pieces of work
