Expert Payroll Specialist

Our organization is seeking a skilled payroll expert to lead our payroll team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic support and technical advice across all payroll and reporting functions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic and operational support and technical advice in all payroll and reporting requirements.
- Leading the payroll function to ensure timely and professional delivery, meeting legislative requirements.
- Consulting with stakeholders to develop a partnership approach to resolving payroll management issues.
- Monitoring and reviewing relevant legislation, standards, and codes of practice to ensure compliance.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience in payroll administration.
- Previous experience in payroll audit and reporting.
- Ability to interpret awards and industrial legislation to ensure compliance.
- Advanced skills in operating and maintaining computerized payroll systems.
- Experience in supervising and motivating a small team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
