Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced analyst to provide strategic intelligence support for Naval Force Protection initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing comprehensive briefs and assessments related to Defence and security issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and comply with legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks including information management requirements.
  • Conduct research and analysis on Defence and security-related developments of strategic interest to Navy.
  • Develop Naval force protection intelligence assessments using analytical tools and techniques.
  • Build strong relationships and negotiate with stakeholders to deliver tailored intelligence assessments.
  • Resolve complex problems using expertise, identifying alternative courses of action.
  • Design and implement solutions to issues impacting desired outcomes.

About our Unit:

The Naval Force Protection Unit is responsible for ensuring the Royal Australian Navy meets its Force Protection requirements. We facilitate a link between Defence, other Government agencies, and coalition partners for the protection of Navy assets and infrastructure critical to the Navy mission.
