The Role

Full-time permanent Defence Engineers are sought in Canberra, with consideration for Sydney or Adelaide. Delivering specialist services to clients in engagements that develop or support Capability for Navy within the Maritime Capability segment involves roles.

Ideal Candidate

Australian Citizens must be experienced in delivering systems engineering services in the Defence Maritime environment, preferably within the One Defence Capability System. Experience working with Navy, Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Group (NSSG), or other Defence clients is desirable. An active NV1 AGSVA Security Clearance (or higher) is required.

Required Skills and Attributes
  • A Bachelor or equivalent level qualification in Engineering is necessary.
  • Minimum three years post graduate experience is required.
  • Experience working within the Defence Maritime environment is essential.
  • An active NV1 AGSVA Security Clearance (or higher) is mandatory.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and complexity, including in sensitive environments with limited guidance is crucial.
  • Effective communication skills and proven ability to deliver high-quality written products are essential.
  • High level of emotional intelligence and humanistic approach to work is desired.
