Job Description:

As a key member of our online team, you will play a vital role in managing the day-to-day operations and motivating your team towards achieving sales objectives. You will be responsible for supervising, coaching and training team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.

Your primary focus will be on developing engaging and creative product descriptions and images for the online platform, as well as preparing rosters within staffing budget and monitoring stock levels. You will also be responsible for preparing relevant reports on sales, returns and online performance, and participating in continuous improvement activities.

Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, warehouse and logistics, and IT.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and coaching team members
  • Preparing rosters within staffing budget
  • Monitoring stock levels and ensuring adequate inventory
  • Developing engaging product descriptions and images
  • Preparing reports on sales, returns and online performance
  • Participating in continuous improvement activities
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in supervising a team in a retail environment, as well as excellent visual merchandising skills and good understanding of techniques for engaging product display.

Excellent communication and organisational skills are also essential, as is the ability to demonstrate high standards of customer service and proven experience at working with financial targets and budgets.
