Our in-home care and assistance services are designed to support individuals with diverse needs, including those living with Alzheimer's, dementia, disabilities, post-operative care requirements, and older Australians.

About the Role

We are seeking reliable and passionate Home Care Professionals to join our team. As an experienced Aged Care Worker or Disability Support Worker, you will be expected to demonstrate client-focused behavior, empathy, and respect for others. You must also possess excellent communication skills, a natural ability to build relationships, and honesty, helpfulness, and dependability.

Responsibilities

  • Working in a person-centered environment that respects client rights and needs
  • Assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and domestic duties
  • Providing companionship and support with daily errands
  • Supporting clients with academic, social, or recreational activities
  • Preparing food, feeding clients, and assisting medications
  • Observing, caring, and reporting any changes in client health and wellbeing
  • Responding to emergency situations
  • Opportunity to work with high-care needs 24/7 clients

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges
  • Current National Police Check
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificates (or willing to obtain)
  • Current unrestricted driver's licence
  • Comprehensive insurance (desirable)
  • COVID Vaccination as per Queensland Government requirement
