Support Associate

This role involves providing support services to individuals, promoting their independence and autonomy. You will work in a participant's home or community setting, requiring flexibility and adaptability.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Offering person-centered support, assisting with daily activities and document management.
  • Providing transportation support using the client's vehicle, ensuring safe travel arrangements.
  • Developing strong relationships with clients, families, friends, and care teams to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional standards.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • A valid driver's license.
  • A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disabilities, or a similar qualification.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
  • An unrestricted driver's license.
  • A current First Aid and CPR certificate.
  • Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation and Prevention of Infection Control Training.
  • A Working with Children Check.
  • A National Police Certificate.
  • A valid Driver Licence.

This is a casual position with 4-16 hours per week expected hours. It offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives, working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
