Your Key Responsibilities

As an Inventory Controller, you will play a crucial role in maintaining an optimal standard of inventory management and control in our 3PL warehousing operation. Your focus will be on coordinating activities that ensure our operation runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Tasks

  1. Manage and coordinate inventory processes, systems, and reporting to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  2. Liaise with customers on inventory issues, reporting, and adjustments to resolve discrepancies and improve relationships.
  3. Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies, preparing reports to inform decision-making.
  4. Manage annual, cyclical, and ad-hoc stocktaking processes to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  5. Analyze inventory velocity to identify fast and slow-moving stock, making recommendations for optimization.
  6. Plan and implement new inventory into the operation, ensuring seamless integration.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. Experience in inventory management within warehousing or storage, with a focus on system management and procedures.
  2. Proven ability to manage or coordinate cyclical and annual stocktakes across a large SKU base.
  3. Strong MS Excel skills to analyze and manipulate data, identifying trends and insights.
  4. Effective communication, problem-solving, and numeracy skills to drive results and improve relationships.
