Job Title: Government Relations Professional

About the Role
The Opportunity seeks a Government Relations Professional to lead CSIRO's engagement with government, building strong relationships across research portfolio, facilitating connections to government priorities.

  • Ensure the impact of science is at the forefront of decision-making.
  • Analyse emerging issues, provide advice on opportunities for CSIRO to engage with decision makers within and across government.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Proactively lead CSIRO's engagement and collaboration with key federal government departments, ensuring scientific impacts are well understood by government.
  • Coordinating tasks such as ministerial briefs, responses to parliamentary questions on notice, senate estimates.
  • Supporting CSIRO's input to cabinet and related processes.

Location: Canberra or other capital cities preferred. Other locations may be considered.
