Data Center Controls Specialist (Controls)
As a Data Center Controls Specialist, you will ensure optimal performance within our data centers by supervising and performing facilities engineering work. Your responsibilities will include programming, alarm response, fault finding, maintenance, repairs, and modification of equipment relating to controls, electrical, mechanical systems, and equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding across disciplines, including but not limited to experience with Tridium, JACE, AVEVA (Wonderware), Rockwell PLC. Proven experience with data collection and conversion software will be highly regarded, as will exposure to DDC, PLC, DCS debugging and programming.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Extensive experience monitoring, operating, and specifically programming controls systems, with the ability to understand and implement controls strategies and architecture.
- Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and ability to work in a collaborative team.
- May have led a small team or worked with multiple vendors.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
- 3+ years' experience post-trade or degree with relevant experience.
- Mechatronics/Controls related trade cert or University certifications.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
