Lead the Way in Sustainable Urban Development

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Urban Development Leader to join our team at Arcadis. As a key member of our global business area Places, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality results and driving innovation in urban development projects.

About the Role:
  • Provide technical leadership and advice on sector strategy and plans for the Urban Development team in Victoria and nationally.
  • BUILD effective relationships with other teams, external organisations, and clients to foster cooperation and maximise opportunities.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of clients' businesses, drivers, competitors, and industry trends to establish trust and respect.
  • Offer technical expertise to clients and stakeholders, providing alternative options and solutions as needed.
  • Mentor and develop the team to its full potential, encouraging innovative thinking.
Requirements:
  • You hold a suitable engineering degree and/or qualification, with postgraduate qualifications an advantage.
  • You have extensive senior industry experience in urban development and regeneration design management.
  • You possess well-established industry networks and are a recognised leader in urban development.
  • You have demonstrated experience working in a consulting environment with clear responsibility for technical outcomes.
  • You have led teams of technical, drafting, and engineering staff locally and internationally.
  • You can network and influence peers, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
