Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent Business Support Officer to join our team in delivering complex defence projects that safeguard Australia's future.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely and accurate administrative support as required.
  • Establish and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Assist with processing travel claims, generating proposals and contracts in an efficient manner.
  • Create and manage supplier account profiles.
  • Handle timesheet inquiries and administer accounts professionally.
  • Prepare and manage invoices for clients and payments for suppliers effectively.
Key Requirements:
  • A proactive and positive attitude towards work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Prior experience in administration or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong organisational and time management capabilities for meeting deadlines.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with attention to detail for accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
  • A current Negative Vetting 1 or higher Security clearance is mandatory.
  • Compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may be inherent.
