About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Support Specialist to join our team in Canberra or remotely. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to project teams, including preparing correspondence, briefs and reports as required.

The role involves:

  • Preparing submissions and documents for higher delegate consideration.
  • Providing input into program schedules and assessing risk and identifying issues.
  • Supporting the establishment and implementation of business support functions at the program level.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to identify, respond and provide advice on issues to achieve work unit outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative support to project teams.
  • Preparing correspondence, briefs and reports as required.
  • Providing input into program schedules and assessing risk and identifying issues.

About You

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A good understanding of the CASG Project Management Methodologies and Defence Capability Life Cycle Framework.
  • Current or recent experience in a project support role within the Defence project environment.
  • Ability to navigate Defence's fast paced and complex project environment.
  • A valid CoA Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
