Delivering Excellence in Defence Projects

This position involves working closely with our Defence community to support their ICT needs, enabling them to protect Australia's interests. With a long history of delivering and maintaining systems for the Australian Defence Force across Army, Navy and Air Force, we're looking for someone who can ensure projects are delivered to the required standard of quality, within time and cost constraints.
Key Responsibilities- Lead teams in the delivery of work packages or project stages, collaborating with customers and business units to ensure acceptance, close-down and handover to service
- Define work package or project stage requirements and manage agreement processes
- Ensure formal review procedures are used
- Manage risks associated with deliverables
- Evaluate impact on business unit profitability, ensuring contingency usage is approved by governance authority
- At least 1 year of experience working on projects, with 6 months as a Project Coordinator or customer service specialist
- Knowledge of the Defence environment
- Proactive and organised approach
- A current or reinstatable AGSVA clearance
