Leisure Activities Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and creative Leisure Activities Coordinator to join our team in delivering exceptional service and providing the highest level of care and service to our residents.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to develop and implement a leisure and lifestyle activities program for residents with dementia. The aim is to improve their quality of life, involve families, carers, and friends, and integrate us into the local community.

About the Role

You will be part of a dynamic team committed to delivering exceptional customer service and providing the best level of care and service to our residents.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing leisure and lifestyle activities programs, working with residents who have dementia, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve outstanding results.

Requirements

  • A minimum 1 year experience in diversional therapy working in aged care or with people with disabilities
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in diversionary therapy services and experience working with people who have dementia
  • Certificate IV in Leisure & Health or equivalent experience
  • Sound understanding and commitment to person-centred care
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
