The Role:

We are seeking a skilled Coach to support participants across the lifespan in their home or community environment. The Coach will work under the guidance of highly qualified professionals to carry out duties that complement the therapy program of a participant, enabling them to develop greater independence and reach their full potential.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out face-to-face and non-face-to-face tasks that bring life-changing experiences to participants
  • Working within the scope of the role, respecting the boundaries of a Coach and that of a therapist
  • Traveling to participants' homes or community environments to provide support
  • Engaging participants using an empathetic nature to model components of a new routine or skill, and providing prompting when needed

Requirements:

  • Being flexible to work across all ages and stages of life
  • Being available at key routine moments of the day
  • Being open to travel to regional/surrounding areas
  • Demonstrated ability to follow instruction and respect scope of practice boundaries
  • Consistently maintaining clear focus on the goals and outcomes of our participants, while being flexible regarding the tasks required
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
  • A valid driver's license and access to your own vehicle
  • Working rights in Australia
