We provide high-quality support services to people with disabilities, empowering them to live a more fulfilling life. Our mission is to break down obstacles and create opportunities for individuals to thrive.
As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in building strong relationships with our clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience working with dementia and other complex disabilities, as well as excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting clients with social outings, visits to local shops, and community access.
- Providing personal care and support as needed.
- Collaborating with staff and management to achieve positive outcomes for participants.
- Empowering participants to achieve independence through skill development and goal setting.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Disability/Aged Care (mandatory).
- Current First Aid Level 2 Certificate (mandatory).
- National Police Check (mandatory).
- Working with Children's Check (WWCC) (mandatory).
- Current Australian Driver's License (MUST).
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate (mandatory).
