About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Sanitarium's management accounting team as an Assistant Management Accountant. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in providing financial support to managers, enabling them to make informed business decisions and effectively manage their areas of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present regular financial performance monitoring and variance reports related to delivery and warehousing for Australia and New Zealand.
  • Ensure freight charge accuracy by maintaining rate cards and performing calculations.
  • Assist in the preparation of business cases and logistics cost impacts.
  • Support changes to the ERP system and provide training to the annual intern.
  • Process logistics invoices for domestic and export carriers.
  • Develop and maintain financial forecasts and projections for AU & NZ Logistics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare and review proposals to support management objectives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in business or commerce with a major in accounting.
  • Completion of or desire to complete CPA, CA, or equivalent qualification.
  • 1+ year(s) of practical experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong customer focus and team orientation.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Experience in an FMCG environment is advantageous but not essential.
