Financial Controller Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Robert Walters Australia. As a key member of our finance function, you will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations of our finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a dedicated team of finance professionals, fostering a positive work culture while ensuring that all processes are efficient and effective.
  • Provide detailed financial input into ongoing planning and reporting activities.
  • Take ownership of the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • Manage and develop the finance team, ensuring roles and responsibilities align with their capabilities.
  • Identify and drive process efficiencies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to all management levels.
  • Handle residential subsidy billing, investment management, reporting, and month-end completion.
Requirements:
  • CA/CPA qualification.
  • Previous experience in both residential and community aged care sectors.
  • Proven experience managing a team of finance staff.
  • Extensive knowledge of Australian accounting standards and Australian NFP tax compliance requirements.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office skills, particularly in time and attendance data management, payroll or other client management systems.
  • High attention to detail, hands-on approach, and ability to adapt quickly to new processes in a changing environment.
