About the Role

Gibbons Automotive, a leading multi-franchise dealership in the automotive industry, is seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to drive financial strategy, budgeting, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Dealer Principal and Management Team to achieve financial objectives
  • Develop and present financial strategy recommendations to the Dealer Principal
  • Oversee cash flow, cash management, and working capital
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance
  • Prepare and lodge BAS and other statutory/taxation obligations
  • Maintain the fixed assets register and perform depreciation calculations
  • Provide financial analysis and commentary on trends
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Financial Controller in the automotive industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of Pentana DMS is a plus, but candidates with motor vehicle experience are encouraged to apply
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Passion for numbers and reporting
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
