Financial Leadership Opportunity

The General Manager Finance will drive growth and support the end-to-end management of our groups finance function. This role will have visibility across the business with focus on providing leadership and direction to the Commercial Manager, Accounting Manager and to our Finance Business Partner, and their teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversight and management of monthly financial reporting including group reporting processes and monthly deadlines.
- Year-end statutory reporting including liaising with external accountants and advisors.
- Process improvement initiatives and implementation of financial control strategies to support business growth.
- Support the FP&A team with budgeting, forecasting and other ad hoc projects.

Requirements
- CA or CPA qualified with a self-starter mindset.
- Natural communicator with a well-honed ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Passionate people leader, with proven ability to contribute positively to a team environment and build strong working relationships across all levels of an organisation.
- Excellent analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards working towards best practice at all times.
- Highly motivated, well-organised and have a proactive approach.
- 7+ years' experience practical accounting experience in the delivery of month-end and Board-related reporting.
