Job Opportunity:

This position involves providing strategic advice on procurement and procurement strategies to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing team members through guiding, mentoring, and advisory roles.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to form project-specific relationships and ensure successful outcomes in a collaborative environment.
  • Managing project procurement, contract management activities, and negotiating contracts and agreements.
  • Building professional networks and working relationships to efficiently manage capital works projects.
  • Maintaining accurate records and complying with reporting and regulatory requirements.
  • Providing sound advice to businesses on improving their practices.
  • Anticipating, communicating, investigating, and resolving problems in systems and services.
  • Representing procurement services at inter and intra-agency meetings as required.
Requirements:
  • Australian citizenship.
  • Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or ability to obtain one.
  • Demonstrated experience in project support, finance, administration, including budgets, financial management, reporting, procurement, and contract management.
  • Demonstrated understanding and working experience of government procurement policies and legislation.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering corporate services.
  • Knowledge of government and industry strategic initiatives.
