Senior Contract and Procurement Lead

Job Summary:

This is a senior-level contract and procurement role that requires the development of contracting strategies, collaboration with technical teams, and negotiation of contracts.

  • Develop and implement contracting strategies aligned with company principles and market intelligence.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop scopes and minimise commercial risks.
  • Negotiate, finalise and prepare contracts for execution
  • Lead tender development, bid evaluation and supplier selection.
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts and variations.
  • Support development of Contract & Procurement processes and systems.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records in contract management systems ensuring compliance.
  • Provide advice on procurement timeliness and contract obligations.
  • Manage service providers.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • At least 10 years' experience in Oil & Gas Procurement and Contracts.
  • Proven experience developing Contract and Procurement systems and processes.
  • Experience in Drilling and Completions services scope development, supplier qualification, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, contract finalisation, award and administration.
  • Good supplier management and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including across technical and commercial teams.
