About the Role

As a senior employment relations expert, you will provide high-level support and advice to management teams and HR professionals relating to employment matters. Your role will be to create an environment that enhances employee engagement and supports strategic objectives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Establish strong working relationships with leaders, HR teams, and key stakeholders to enable accurate and proactive advice.
  • Develop, update, and manage employment frameworks, policies, and bargaining activities to support strategic objectives and fulfill legislative and employer responsibilities.
  • Manage complex employment matters and partner with HR teams on case management, investigations, disciplinary action, and representation in tribunals.
  • Develop and deliver employment presentations and information sessions to educate leaders on best practices.
About You
  • You are an expert in employment relations with extensive experience in providing strategic and tactical advice on regulations.
  • You have highly developed interpersonal, relationship management, and conflict resolution skills to effectively liaise, consult, and influence various stakeholders.
  • You have demonstrated success in managing union relationships, disputes, and bargaining activities, as well as experience in representing employers in industrial commissions and tribunals.
  • You hold relevant tertiary qualifications and can quickly adapt to fast-paced environments.
