Job Summary

  • A senior technical leader with a passion for guiding and supporting high-performing teams of engineers.

As Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of our organization by leading and supporting a team of talented engineers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver business objectives and drive technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and support a team of full-stack engineers through regular 1:1s, performance feedback, and career development.
  2. Translate company and product strategies into meaningful, actionable outcomes that drive business results.
  3. Oversee project delivery with product managers and stakeholders to ensure successful execution and timely completion.
  4. Collaborate with senior engineering staff to ensure projects are well-planned, resourced, and executed.
  5. Manage multiple work streams and squads by effectively delegating leadership and supporting your team.
  6. Ensure observability and monitoring is in place for existing and new features to help mitigate issues.
  7. Oversee the architecture and technical direction of initiatives to ensure long-term product stability and maintain agreed-upon standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an engineering manager or similar technical leadership role.
  • Strong technical background with expertise in software development and engineering principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Ability to translate business strategy into actionable technical plans and execute on them.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to drive business results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to navigate complex technical issues.
  • Proficiency in tools and technologies relevant to the role and industry.
