Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Engineering Manager to lead our Feature Control team in building and maintaining a cutting-edge feature flagging and progressive delivery platform.

This strategic role involves guiding a talented team of backend and frontend engineers, creating the conditions for them to excel. Key responsibilities include defining and evolving the strategy of the Feature Control platform, collaborating with other teams to connect with related services, and partnering with data and product leaders to ensure measurement is embedded into launches.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading technical direction, elevating engineering craft, and supporting the growth of a team of skilled engineers. Their leadership will directly shape how we deliver product innovation to users – enabling teams to launch new features with precision and safety.

Ongoing responsibilities include collaborating with engineering leaders to promote safe deployment patterns, advocating for and implementing observability and health monitoring across rollouts, and building strong relationships with other platform teams to integrate safely into our stack.

Required skills include leading engineering teams across both frontend and backend infrastructure, bringing deep technical expertise in feature flagging, rollout systems, or developer platforms, and being comfortable coaching engineers across the stack and guiding architectural decisions that scale.

The ideal candidate will have experience with modern, polyglot environments and love mentoring and have a track record of helping people grow and thrive. They will think like a product partner, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impact, communicate clearly, thrive in ambiguity, set clear direction, and bring others along on the journey.
