Job Title: Health Safety Specialist

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our Corporate Services division, supporting Workplace Health, Safety & Wellbeing Systems.

About the Role
  • Maintaining and enhancing OHSMS documentation and safety records is crucial for this position.
  • The successful candidate will administer incident reporting systems and provide staff support.
  • Coordinating WHS Committee meetings, including agendas, minutes, and follow-ups, is also a key responsibility.
  • Presenting data in visual reports using tools like Power BI is a requirement of the role.
  • Supporting WorkCover and Return to Work processes, including financial transactions and insurance renewals, is essential.
  • This role also involves assisting in the delivery of wellbeing initiatives and events, including logistics and reporting.
Key Selection Criteria
  • Strong administrative and coordination skills with high attention to detail are necessary for success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, enabling engagement across all levels.
  • Experience in customer-centric support and service delivery is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ability to learn systems such as Power BI, Copilot, and HSI DoneSafe is important.
  • Effective time management, independent work habits, and team collaboration are expected.
  • Cert IV in OHS or working towards it is advantageous.
