Data Migration Project Lead

We're seeking an experienced professional to spearhead our SAP S/4HANA data migration initiative.

This 24-month fixed term contract will involve working closely with system owners, data SMEs and system integrators to map, cleanse and migrate legacy data into the new system.

Our goal is to modernise our systems, streamline processes and unlock new efficiencies as we implement SAP S/4HANA across the business over the next three years.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to map source data to SAP target structures
  • Drive data migration strategy and oversee execution in partnership with our System Integrator
  • Identify data gaps, quality issues and design remediation plans that minimise business risk
  • Lead source-to-target data mapping and manage pipelines across master, reference and transactional data
  • Document all flows, maintain a data issue log and ensure accountability through clear RACIs
  • Monitor and manage risks, issues and dependencies—reporting to the Transformation Office
  • Enable scalable, transparent and auditable migration pipelines to support program milestones
Your Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in data migration projects, including greenfield SAP S/4HANA programs
  • Deep knowledge of SAP data structures, data migration tools (e.g., BODS, Syniti, SAP Migration Cockpit) and SQL
  • Strong communication skills and experience partnering with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work with system integrators and drive high-quality, on-time migration deliverables
  • Experience managing risk, dependencies and reporting progress across complex programs
  • A proactive mindset and strong sense of accountability
  • Exposure to Snowflake and other modern data platforms (desirable)
