Job Overview

As a Senior Accountant / Client Manager at WizeTalent, you will play a key role in managing client relationships, overseeing project delivery, and ensuring client satisfaction. This role requires a blend of client interaction and accounting expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance processing and preparation of periodical Activity Statements.
  • Preparation of Financial Statements & Tax Returns.
  • Client compliance tasks, including FBT Returns, TPAR [Contractor reporting], STP Reporting, Payroll Tax Returns, etc.
  • Mentoring and supporting other team members.
  • Client care and management of a group of clients.
  • Assistance in projects as required.
  • Participation in team training, events, and continuous improvement.
  • Business advisory and value-added work as directed.
  • Other tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting or client-facing roles in a public practice or accounting firm.
  • Proficiency in accounting software Xero.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and tasks simultaneously.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
