Job Overview

As the Senior Accountant / Client Manager, you will play a key role in managing client relationships, overseeing project delivery, and ensuring client satisfaction. This role involves a blend of client interaction and accounting tasks, requiring strong communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compliance Processing: Ensure accurate and timely completion of compliance tasks, including preparation of periodical Activity Statements and Financial Statements & Tax Returns.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support to meet their needs.
  • Mentoring and Support: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Project Management: Oversee project delivery, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Business Advisory: Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on financial matters, helping them to achieve their goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in team training and events, and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in accounting or a client-facing role in a public practice or accounting firm.
  • Proficiency in accounting software Xero.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and tasks simultaneously.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
