Nursing Education and Research Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished academic leader to join our team as Professor/Discipline Lead of Nursing.

  • A PhD in Nursing or a related discipline, and/or significant work experience is required for this position.
  • Demonstrated expertise in nursing education and research, with a strong national and international profile, is essential.
  • Eligibility for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) is necessary.
  • Experience with curriculum development and alignment with NMBA and TEQSA standards is expected.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver teaching and learning programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels is required.
  • Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence is necessary.
  • Demonstrated industry or work-integrated learning experience is expected.
  • Evidence of professional development of teaching practice and leadership skills is required.

The School of Population Health at UNSW is renowned for its excellence in public health and health systems education and research.

This role reports directly to the Head of School, Population Health, and plays a critical part in advancing outstanding nursing education and research at a national and international level.
