About the Role
We're currently seeking an experienced Occupational Rehabilitation Consultant to join our client's team. As a key member of their workforce, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality services to injured workers, employers, and other stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct Early Intervention Assessments: You'll conduct early intervention assessments to identify the needs of injured workers and develop strategies to support their return to work.
- Perform Functional Capacity Evaluations: You'll perform functional capacity evaluations to assess the physical and mental abilities of injured workers and provide recommendations for their safe return to work.
- Develop Return-to-Work Plans: You'll work closely with employers and other stakeholders to develop return-to-work plans that meet the needs of injured workers and promote their safe and sustainable return to work.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: You'll collaborate with employers, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure that injured workers receive the support they need to recover and return to work.
- Provide Vocational Counselling: You'll provide vocational counselling to help injured workers identify new career options and develop the skills they need to succeed in their chosen field.
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for an experienced Occupational Rehabilitation Consultant who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of injured workers. You'll have:
Tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy or a related fieldFull AHPRA registrationUnrestricted Australian working rightsA current driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicleA commitment to excellence and a passion for helping people navigate complex rehabilitation plansWhat We Offer
