Job Title: Operations Manager - Workshop Operations

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the smooth running of our workshop operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all day-to-day activities run efficiently and effectively.

This role involves coordinating staff, managing schedules, overseeing inventory, and implementing processes to maintain a safe, organised, and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day workshop operations, including scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Oversee inventory, tools, and equipment maintenance.
  • Coordinate with project managers and tradespeople to ensure timely job completion.
  • Monitor workflows and implement process improvements.
  • Liaise with clients and suppliers where required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar operations or workshop management role (plumbing or construction industry highly regarded).
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of plumbing tools, equipment, and industry standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
