Concrete Driver

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Driver to join our team at our Cairns Concrete Plant.

">

About the Role:

  • ">
  • You will be responsible for delivering concrete using an Agitator Truck.">
  • Most days will start at 6am working up to and over 10 hours per day, and around 55-60 hours per week.">
  • Saturday work is generally available, paid at overtime rates.">
  • You will be dealing with lots of different personalities every day, so you need to be comfortable interacting with people you haven't met before.">
  • We provide cutting edge technology to not only keep you safe whilst driving, but also to help you map your routes and keep track of your loads.">
  • All new starts go through a 10-day training program before we let you loose by yourself.">

About You:

  • ">
  • A minimum of HR license (essential) with previous driving experience (preferred).">
  • A front-end loader ticket would be highly regarded.">
  • You enjoy meeting people and having a chat with them when you're onsite.">
  • You prefer variety in your working life.">
  • No two days are ever the same when you're driving one of our Agi trucks.">
  • You can pick up new systems easily, and don't shy from complicated tasks.">
  • You take pride in the appearance of your truck. Keep it clean, give it a wash and present the best image of our company.">
  • You are able to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test (random testing is also conducted on all sites).">
